Slap Vlog is an iPhone camera built for vlogs that run over several days. Open a vlog, the camera fills the screen, one button. Tap to start, tap to stop. Every take stays inside that vlog, in the order you shot it.
Forty clips across a week, scattered between screenshots, a photo of a parking sign, and a video your kid took of the ceiling.
Finding the one you shot on Tuesday means scrolling, squinting at thumbnails, and opening the wrong clip four times. By the time you sit down to edit, half the job is just working out what you already have.
Slap Vlog gives every vlog its own camera. Whatever you shoot inside it stays inside it, in shooting order, split by the day you shot it. Day one, day two, day three, right there under the viewfinder.
No menus to get wrong before the moment passes. Open the vlog, you are behind the lens.
Opening a vlog puts you straight into a full-screen camera with a single record button. Watch back the take you just shot, or delete it, without ever leaving the viewfinder.
Every take lands inside that vlog in the order you shot it, grouped by shooting day. The take strip along the bottom shows day dividers, so nothing from day two goes missing on day six.
Export joins every take end to end into a single video and saves it to Photos, ready for whatever you edit in. Mixed portrait, landscape and front-camera takes all come out the right way up.
Free is not a trial and it does not expire. Pro exists for one reason: running more than one vlog at the same time.
Slap Vlog is built and in App Store submission. There is no download link to give you yet. When the listing goes live, the App Store button lands right here and on slapvlog.com.
Slap Vlog has no server, no account and no cloud storage. There is nowhere for your footage to go, because there is nothing on the other end of a connection.
The long version, including your GDPR and CCPA rights, is in the Privacy Policy.
It gives every vlog its own camera. You create a vlog, open it, and record takes straight into it. Every take stays inside that vlog in the order you shot it, grouped by the day it was shot, so you never have to hunt through your camera roll for footage from day two of a shoot.
One vlog project, unlimited takes inside it, and full export to Photos. Plus the rest of the app: the camera, day grouping, the take strip, review and delete. It is not a trial, it never expires, and it is not watermarked.
Unlimited vlog projects at the same time. That is the whole entitlement. Pro is $1.99 per week or $49.99 per year, and the yearly plan starts with 7 days free.
The yearly plan starts with 7 days free, then $49.99 per year. Cancel before the seven days are up and you are not charged. The weekly plan has no trial on purpose, because a trial on a weekly plan is just a way to farm free weeks.
Nothing happens to it. Every vlog and every take you already recorded stays on your phone, and you can still watch, review and export all of it. The only thing that stops is starting a brand new vlog while you already have more than the free one. That rule is written into the Terms of Use so it cannot quietly change.
On your iPhone: Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Slap Vlog, then Cancel Subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
On your iPhone, inside the app's own private storage. Slap Vlog has no server and never uploads footage, so no one else can see it. Takes live in the app's documents area, which means they survive an iCloud device restore and are never evicted when storage runs low.
That is the point of the app. Takes stay inside their vlog so your camera roll does not fill up with raw footage. When you are ready, Export joins every take into one video and saves that to Photos.
No. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier, no third-party code that sends anything anywhere. Subscriptions run through Apple's own in-app purchase system, so Apple handles the payment and the developer never sees your card details, your name or your address.
Not yet. Slap Vlog is built and in App Store submission. When the listing is live, the download link goes on this page and on slapvlog.com. Nothing here is a pre-order and there is nothing to pay until the app is actually out.
Support for Slap Vlog is handled directly by its developer. Email is the fastest route and usually gets a reply within two business days.
Slap Vlog lands on the App Store soon. Follow along, or read exactly what you are agreeing to before you ever tap install.
