Slap Vlog is a paid iPhone app with a free tier. One vlog is free forever. Slap Vlog Pro unlocks unlimited vlogs at $1.99 per week or $49.99 per year, and the yearly plan starts with 7 days free.
If a subscription ends, every vlog and every take you already recorded stays yours to watch, export and share. Footage is never locked behind a payment.
Slap Vlog is developed and published by Jessyka Mathews, a sole proprietor trading as FunnelFix, in California, United States. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the developer" mean Jessyka Mathews. "You" means the person using the app.
These terms apply to the Slap Vlog iPhone app, to this page, and to the Slap Vlog pages on slapforge.com. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Slap Vlog is a camera for multi-day vlogs. You create a vlog project, record takes into it, review or delete takes, and optionally export every take joined end to end into one video saved to your photo library. Takes are stored on your device, in the app's own private storage.
Slap Vlog has no account, no server of ours, and no cloud storage. The only network activity in the app is the subscription check that iOS performs with Apple's App Store, described in section 4.
Slap Vlog is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Slap Vlog on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for its intended purpose.
Your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement and by the App Store Terms of Service. Where those Apple terms and these terms conflict on a point Apple controls, such as distribution, billing or refunds, Apple's terms apply.
Slap Vlog Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. It is offered on two plans, both in the same subscription group:
Prices above are in United States dollars for the United States storefront. In the app, the price you see is always the localised price Apple publishes for your own storefront and currency, and that price is what you pay.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Apple is the merchant of record for every Slap Vlog subscription. We cannot see your payment details, cannot charge you, and cannot issue or deny a refund. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's process, or contact Apple Support. Statutory rights you hold under the consumer law of your own country are not affected by this.
Slap Vlog is usable without paying anything. The free tier includes:
The free tier is not a trial. It is not time limited and it does not expire. The single thing a Slap Vlog Pro subscription adds is the ability to run unlimited vlog projects at the same time.
If your subscription lapses, expires or is cancelled, you keep full read, playback, export and sharing access to every vlog and every take you already recorded, however many vlogs that is.
The only capability you lose is creating a new vlog while you are at or over the free limit of one vlog. Nothing you have already shot is deleted, hidden, locked, degraded or watermarked because a payment stopped.
This is a commitment, not a current implementation detail. Footage you recorded is irreplaceable and it is yours. We will not ship a version of Slap Vlog that holds recorded footage behind a lapsed subscription.
You own the video and audio you record with Slap Vlog. We do not host it, upload it, receive a copy of it, or acquire any licence to it. Nothing in these terms gives us a right to use your footage.
You are responsible for what you record and for how you share anything you export, including getting whatever consent the law where you are requires before filming other people. Do not use Slap Vlog to create or distribute content you are not allowed to create or distribute.

We may end your licence to use the app if you materially breach these terms. That does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund, which remains Apple's decision.
How privacy works for Slap Vlog is set out in the Privacy Policy. In short: the app collects no personal data, your footage stays on your device, and Apple processes the subscription so that your payment details never reach us.
Slap Vlog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, or that every export will succeed on every device configuration.
Keep your own copies of footage you care about. Deleting a take, deleting a vlog, deleting the app, losing the device or restoring it without a backup can permanently remove footage that exists only on that device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jessyka Mathews, trading as FunnelFix, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, footage, profits or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of Slap Vlog or these pages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app or these terms will not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the total amount you paid for Slap Vlog Pro in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those places these limits apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. The updated version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes, particularly any change to pricing, to what the free tier includes, or to the commitment in section 6, will be stated plainly here before they take effect in a shipped version of the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of the place where you live.
You acknowledge that these terms are between you and Jessyka Mathews, trading as FunnelFix, only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Slap Vlog or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product-liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation. Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance of them Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
