Privacy Policy.

Last updated 11 September 2026

Slap Vlog collects nothing. There is no account, no server of ours, and no analytics. Your footage is written to your own device and stays there.

The app is paid, so it talks to Apple to check whether your subscription is active. Apple handles the payment, and your card details never reach the developer.

1. Who this policy is from

Slap Vlog is developed and published by Jessyka Mathews, a sole proprietor trading as FunnelFix, 2166 W Broadway #1008, Anaheim, CA 92804-2446, United States. For the purposes of the GDPR, Jessyka Mathews is the data controller, to the very limited extent that any controller exists for an app that holds no personal data.

This policy covers the Slap Vlog iPhone app and the Slap Vlog pages on slapforge.com.

2. What we collect

Nothing. Slap Vlog does not collect, transmit, sell, share or rent any personal information. We do not operate a server that the app sends data to. There is no account, no sign-up, no email capture, no profile and no user identifier.

We cannot tell you what data we hold about you, because we hold none.

3. Your videos

The takes you record are written to Slap Vlog's own private storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere. They are not readable by other apps. Nobody, including the developer, can see them.

Takes stay inside the app until you export them. Export joins the takes into one video and saves that video to your photo library, on the same device.

If your device is set to back up to iCloud, your takes may be included in that backup in the same way as other app data. That backup is between you and Apple, under Apple's own privacy policy. It does not pass through us and we have no access to it.

4. Permissions the app asks for, and why

Each permission is requested at the moment it is first needed, and the app keeps working in a reduced way if you say no.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Slap Vlog Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple is the merchant of record. When you subscribe:

Apple's handling of your payment data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and the App Store terms.

6. Analytics and tracking

There are none. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, no attribution framework, no tracking pixels and no third-party libraries that phone home. Slap Vlog does not track you across other apps or websites, and it collects no data linked to your identity.

7. The App Store privacy label

Slap Vlog's App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected in every category, and No for tracking. That label describes what the developer collects. Adding a subscription did not change it: the app now talks to Apple to check an entitlement, but purchase data flows from you to Apple, not to us.

App Store privacy label
Data used to track youNone
Data linked to youNone
Data not linked to youNone
Third-party advertisingNone

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, or adds a service that does, this policy and that label will both change before it ships, and the change will be stated plainly here.

8. Third parties

Slap Vlog shares data with no third parties, because it holds no data to share. There are no advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics vendors and no partners. The only company involved at all is Apple, which distributes the app and processes the subscription.

9. Deleting your data

Delete an individual take from inside the vlog, or delete a whole vlog, and its video files are removed from the device immediately. Deleting the app removes everything Slap Vlog has stored.

Because nothing is held on a server, there is no account to close and no deletion request to send us. Cancelling a subscription is separate and is done in your Apple Account settings; it never deletes footage.

10. Children's privacy

Slap Vlog is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age. There is nothing for a child to sign up for, no profile, no messaging, no social feature and no advertising. Because the app collects no data at all, it does not collect data from children either, which is the practical answer under the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the equivalent provisions of the GDPR.

The footage a child records with the app stays on their own device. If you are a parent or guardian and you have a question about that, contact us using the details below.

11. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of personal data a company holds about you, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Slap Vlog holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, restrict or delete on your behalf, and no lawful-basis analysis to publish for processing that does not happen. Your footage is already entirely under your control, on your own device. You can still write to us at the address below, and we will answer honestly, which will be the same answer as this paragraph.

We do not transfer personal data internationally, because we do not hold any to transfer.

12. Your rights under the CCPA and CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information a business collects about you, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

In the twelve months before the date at the top of this page, Slap Vlog collected no categories of personal information, disclosed none for a business purpose, and sold or shared none. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so. There is no opt-out link because there is nothing to opt out of.

13. Website

The Slap Vlog pages on slapforge.com are static pages. They set no cookies, run no analytics, embed no trackers, and load no third-party fonts or scripts. Our host serves the pages and keeps standard server request logs for security and reliability; those logs are the host's, not a profile we build about you.

14. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that change will be stated here before it ships, not after.
